| The
purpose of Developmental Biology at UGA is to further
the study of development in all organisms and at all levels of life, to
represent and promote communication among students of development, and
to promote the field of developmental biology.
The Developmental Biology faculty at UGA
comprises over 25 faculty from nine different departments at UGA,
including Cellular Biology,
Genetics,
Biochemistry and Molecular Biology,
Microbiology,
Plant Biology,
Poultry Science,
Veterinary Pathology,
Entomology, and
Animal and Dairy Sciences.
Our faculty work in a wide range of
organisms and systems. The diversity in interests and approaches
generates a lively and interactive environment to promote and support
developmental biology research.
